【句式·策略】
1．用简而不凡的简单句为表达“奠基” ①大声朗读是学习英语非常有效的方法。
Reading aloud is a very effective way of learning English. ②在我们学习语言的过程中，耐心和热情是必备的。 In our language learning，we must be patient and enthusiastic. ③许多外国学生认为学习汉语是非常值得的。 Many foreign students think it worthwhile to learn Chinese. 2．用美观整齐的并列句为表达“提质”
①我看到了您的广告，想更多地了解你们为期六周的英语课程。
I have seen your advertisement and I’d like to know something more about your six－week English courses. ②他说英语不仅说得正确而且说得流利。
He not only speaks English correctly，but also fluently.
③我们虽然只学了仅仅一年的英语，但是我们已经能表演英语短剧了。 We have studied English for only a year，yet we can act English plays already． 3．用花样繁多的复合句为表达“增色”
①人们普遍认为，学好英语对我们大家都有极大益处。
It is universally acknowledged that learning English well will be of great benefit to us all． ②我们应该把生词与我们已经学会的东西联系起来。 We should associate new words with what we have learned．
③我们理应学好英语，因为精通英语意味着在将来有更多的机会。
We are supposed to learn English well，because having a good command of English means more opportunities in the future.
4．用光彩夺目的非谓语动词为表达“美化”
①我坚持写日记，这不仅能提高我用英语表达自我的能力，也有助于我学以致用。
I insist on keeping a diary and it can improve my ability to express myself in English and help me to put what I’ve
learnt to use.
②由于在世界上被广泛使用，学习汉语的人的数量在快速增加。
Widely used in the world，the number of people learning Chinese is rapidly increasing.
③按照计划，我们今天举办英语才艺大赛，目的是培养我们学习英语的兴趣，提高我们实际听说的能力。 As scheduled，we have an English Talent Show today，with the purpose of developing our interest in English learning and improving our practical abilities to listen and speak. 5．用委婉动人的虚拟句为表达“点缀” ①如果你听从我的建议，你就学好英语了。
If you had taken my advice，you would have learned English well． ②
我建议你应更好地了解这两种不同的语言文化。
I suggest that you (should) have a better understanding of the two different language cultures. ③李老师讲英语很流利，好像是英国人。
Mr Li speaks English very fluently as if he were an Englishman． 6．用独具风格的特殊句为表达“添彩” ①吉姆现在正在北京大学学习汉语。
It is in Beijing University that Jim is now studying Chinese. ②俗话说，“熟能生巧”。只有通过练习我们才会取得更大进步。
As the saying goes，“Practice makes perfect.”Only by practising will we make greater progress．
