知识要点（一）
I like Monkey king the best.意思是“我最喜欢孙悟空。” best为副词，是well的最高级，意为“最，极”，副词最高级时，the可以省略。 例如：Which singer do you like (the) best?你最喜欢哪位歌手？ I like Hanhong(the)best.我最喜欢韩红。
He in the most interesting character.意思是“他是最有趣人物。”
interesting是多音节形容词，双音节和多音的形容词与副词的比较级和最高级是在它的前面加-more,-加the most.
例如：He is the most hard-working character.他是最勤劳的人物。 *双音节多音节形容词、副词：interesting;hard-working; beautiful;delicious;expensive;
exciting;frightening;careful;carfully;

知识要点（二）
She wanted to make a lot of people.意思是“她要做出很多人” people意为“人”，只有单数形式，如加-s，意思是“民族”。 lot of等于a lot of,意为“许多”，既可修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词。 例如：How many people are there in your family?你家里有多少人？ There are are lost of bread in the fridge.冰箱里有很多面包。 a lot of 和 lots of ：
这两个词组可以当作定语，即当作many或much那样
来使用；因此，谓语动词的数不是依据lot和lots来决定，而是依据of所引导的名词的数来决定。 例如：A lot of time has been wasted．有许多时间给浪费掉了。（a lot of =much 都修饰不可数名词） A lot of people have been present．已有许多人到了。（a lot of=many） There is lots of time to spare．时间绰绰有余。（不说 There are…） There are a lot of birds 鸟是可数的，所以be动词是are There is a lot of time 时间不可数的，所以be动词是is
总介：
many, much, a lot of均表示“许多” many只能修饰可数名词复数； much只能修饰不可数名词；
a lot of既可修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词。 many books许多书； much water许多水；
There was a lot of mud on the ground. 地上有许多泥。 I picked lots of flowers. 我摘了许多花。 我们还要注意以下几点：
*一般说来 many 跟 much 多半是用在疑问句和否定句里, 而 a lot of 常用于肯定句中。 如：We can see a lot of birds in the tree.我们看到树上有很多鸟儿。
---We can't see many birds in the tree. 我们在树上看不到很多鸟儿。 He wants lots of soda. 他需要许多汽水
---Does he want much soda? 他需要许多汽水吗？
*lots of＝a lot of 后面接可数名词时谓语用复数，接不可数名词时，谓语用单数。 如：There are a lot of birds 鸟是可数的，所以be动词是are There is a lot of time 时间不可数的，所以be动词是is
