2.1 Fundamental State基本情况

本单元的教学为九年级下期内容,学生已通过两年半的初中英语学习,对初中英语学习的要求明白,并已适应初中英语学习,具备英语学习的基本技能,初步掌握一些学习策略,能够对新的现象和问题进行观察和分析,并且结合自己的生活经历,表达自己的情感以及对事物的不同看法。在身心特点方面,九年级的学生学业繁重,心智逐渐成熟,课堂上的活跃度较初一,初二而言有所降低,需要教师将学生生活和情感融入课堂,从学生实际出发,去激发他们语言表达的欲望和学习的兴趣。

2.2 Knowledge Reserve知识储备

通过两年多的学习和积累,学生积累了一定的词汇量,接触到了常见的话题和功能项目。特别是Book 8A Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?中对使役动词make拓展学习,学生基本知道如何谈论事物对情感的影响,为本节课谈论如何表达感受奠定了知识基础。 2.3 Class data本班实际

本班学生有比较明确的学习目的,能够在小组活动中互相帮助,积极与他人合作

,敢于用英语进行表达。本课时谈论how things affect people,how to improve friendship话题内容贴近学生、贴近生活,学生熟悉,有话可说,教师应该尽量创设情景,拓展思路,必要时帮助学生用英语进行准确表达。

5.1 Leading-in and warming-up 引入与激趣活动

Greet with Ss and lead Ss to talk about feelings about different weather. The T may want to focus their attention on “make sb. + adj.” or “make sb. + do sth.” structure. 5.2 New points input 新知输入(贴标签) 5.2.1 Language presentation

As we know, things can influence us differently. So let’s talk about how the following things affect you. T writes the grammar structure on the Bd: make sb. + adj. make sb. + do sth.

T: How does it make you fell when ...? S: It makes me nervous. worried. sad. happy. scared. want to cry. want to dance. 5.2.1.1

Talk about expressions about feelings. 5.2.1.2 Pair-work

Ask Ss to talk about their opinions on different kinds of movies. 5.2.2 Activity 1a 5.2.2.1

Present a picture of a great hotel, and lead Ss to talk about the feelings caused by the environment. 5.2.2.2

Ask and answer. Lead Ss to watch the two pictures in 1a and talk about the differences between them. 5.2.2.3

Fill in the chart about pictures in 1a. 5.3 Listening practice 听力训练 5.3.1 Activity 1b 5.3.1.1

Pre-listening. Get Ss to look at 1b and the picture on page 81 and T plays the recording for the first time. 5.3.1.2

Post-listening. T asks Ss to role-play the conversation between Amy and Tina. 5.3.2 Activity 2a, 2b

2a and 2b provides listening practice using the target language 5.2.2.1

Pre-listening. T presents the four pictures one by one, and lets Ss have a guessing about what’s happening in the pictures, using target language as much as possible. 5.3.2.2

Do 2a, 2b together and check answers. 2a: 3 2 4 1

2b: 1. crazy 2. stay 3. dance 4. cry 5. leave If Ss give some incorrect answers, T can play the recording again.

5.4.2 Draw a map to guide Ss to understand the relationship among the three students. 5.4.3 T can play the recording and let Ss to read the conversation. At the same time, T can correct the pronunciation of words. 5.5 Sentence Interpretation 难句理解 5.5.1

I’d rather go to Blue Ocean because I like to listen to quiet music while I’m eating. 我愿意去蓝色海洋餐馆因为我喜欢吃饭时享受安静的音乐。

I’d rather是I would rather的缩写,表示“宁愿......; 愿意......”,后面加动词原形。 would rather do than do “宁愿......而不愿......” 5.5.2

John: Did you have fun with Amy last night? 约翰:昨晚你和艾米玩得开心吗? Tina: Well...yes and no... 蒂娜:嗯,既开心又不开心......

yes and no 表示对某一问题的两可回答,意思是“既是又不是;不能说定” 5.5.3
