Step 1:Greeting and lead in
I will show the students an interesting video about their old friend

Peppa pig to see whether she has a busy week or not. Then I will read Sonia’s letter for the students. And they are supposed to answer two questions. The first one, What Sonia is going to do on Tuesday? The second one, Does Sonia want Henry to join them to watch a movie? Then one student will be invited to answer.
Step 2: pre-writing
Before writing. I will show the format of letter and write it down on the blackboard.
Step 3: while-writing
1) Writing.
The students write the letter by themselves. 2) Polishing
The students exchange their work with their group members, and help each other to find out their mistakes, such as spelling, grammar, format and errors in logic.
Step 4: post-writing
I will invite some students to read their letters in front of the class. And I will give assessment.
Step 5: Summary and homework
I will invite one of them to summarize what they have learned in this class.
Homework:
